John Schnitzius

John Schnitzius is the Executive Vice President and Director of Capital Markets at EverBank, where he oversees residential and commercial acquisitions, portfolio strategy, secondary marketing, and mortgage servicing. With over two decades of experience in capital markets and mortgage finance, John plays a critical role in shaping EverBank’s investment strategy and risk management framework.

Since joining EverBank in 2006, John has held several key roles, including Portfolio Manager and Director of Capital Markets. His leadership has been instrumental in managing the bank’s residential investment portfolios and optimizing MSR (mortgage servicing right) performance. Prior to EverBank, he served as Risk Manager at Capital Markets Cooperative and Managing Director at McDash Analytics, where he led one of the industry’s largest loan-level mortgage databases and provided strategic consulting to originators, servicers, and investors.

John began his career as a Senior MSR Analyst at EverHome Mortgage Company, building a strong foundation in mortgage servicing analytics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of North Florida.
