EverBank Builds Trailblazer Award, presented to Madai Cary by EverBank CEO Greg Seibly and EverBank President David DePillo.
At EverBank, our culture thrives because of individuals who believe deeply in the power of community, connection and purpose. In Islandia, NY, that spirit is brought to life by Madai Cary, our EverBank Builds Council Leader and a true ambassador for engagement and well being.
Anyone who has worked with Madai knows her energy is contagious. She leads with heart, champions meaningful causes, and brings people together in ways that strengthen our culture across the organization.
Championing mental health awareness through “Still I Run”
One of Madai’s most impactful contributions has been her leadership in elevating EverBank’s support for Still I Run, a virtual run/walk challenge dedicated to mental health awareness. Held each year during May—Mental Health Awareness Month—the event encourages employees to move with purpose while advocating for wellness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
Under Madai’s vision and coordination, participation in the event doubled this year. She strategically partnered with our Gen United Business Resource Group, expanding its reach and ensuring the initiative resonated with both new and returning participants.
Her passion, organization and enthusiasm turned the event into more than a challenge—it became a movement.
