How to set up overdraft protection
Use online banking to set up your coverage.
Step 1: Log in to your account
Access online banking from everbank.com.
Step 2: Navigate to account services
Open the Self Service menu, and then choose Account Services.
Step 3: Access the setup form
Click the Overdraft Protection tab. You may need to verify your identity with a one-time passcode.
Step 4: Link an account
Use the Set Up button to select a source account to link to your checking account.

A source account is the eligible EverBank checking, money market or savings account you link to fund overdrafts on your primary checking account.
Can I use any account as a backup?
Most deposit accounts are eligible, but IRAs, WorldCurrency® accounts, and Metals Select® accounts cannot be used.
Is there a fee for an automated transfer?
There is no fee for an overdraft automated transfer from your linked EverBank account.
